My Photography

My journey with photography started from an early age about (13), when my parents bought me my first camera, a Kodak Brownie 44A which used 120 film and used a seperate flash gun using disposable flash bulbs. But photography as a hobby did not quite grab me at that time. Over the course of many years thereafter, I dabbled, taking family photos now and again but really photography took a backward step for one reason or another.

It wasn't till 2005 that I took up the hobby again with enthusiasm and oh!, how things changed when I joined Brentwood & District Photographic Club.

a extremely friendly and welcoming club (Click on link above to find out more). I am still a member today, with active committee roles.

In addition, I'm also a member of the Upminster U3A photographic group. A small friendly group which has outings every month and Surprise!, Surprise!, we normally end up in a pub afterwards for a drink and snack (an excuse to discuss the days results).
